Meaning of mental health
Mental health is a topic that needs more awareness even if we hear it a lot. For me, your thoughts guide your expressions and emotions. It builds up from what we consume to how our minds process these information and it reflects in our actions and decisions. It is one of the most important aspects of our lives.
Avoid negative thoughts.
To break free of from mental health issues you need to avoid negative thoughts as much as possible. Any thing that would lead to a misleading thought or that would make you go into depression, please avoid it. This would enable you have the right energy towards other aspects of your life.
Limit your time on social media usage.
Social media is one major contributor to mental health issues in our generation today. Because when you are on social media, a lot of subconscious comparisons among your peers is running through your mind and this leads to an emotional break down without even noticing it.
Stop being around bullies.
To build this mental health we are talking about, we should stop being around people that would always use degrading statement on us at every given opportunity they have. Please stop being around such type of individuals. Avoid their company as much as possible.
Use affirmations daily.
Affirmations are very effective when used appropriately, use them everyday day and every opportunity you have to say them. Let them be part of your subconscious mind and you would definitely see great changes in your lifeĀ
Rest.
In as much as we have a bucket list, needs and desires and we want to achieve a lot before a particular deadline, we can’t avoid resting. Please give time to your body to rest to avoid break down. One good way to rest is sleeping well.
