The Federal government of Nigeria and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) provides job opportunities for youth in Nigeria, with the availability of over 20,000 jobs.
This initiative is the Nigerian Jubilee Fellowship Program (NJFP) which aims to help the unemployed youth in Nigeria.
Presently there are over 25,000,000 unemployed youths and this is a Statistics given in 2019 as a result of the pandemic we don’t know the current situation of unemployed youths in the country.
The Nigerian Jubilee Fellowship Program will help to equip the young leaders of the nation
who hold the key to a better Nigeria.
This programme will give the Youths the necessary skills and tools which enable them contribute efficiently to the development of both the public and also the private sectors in Nigeria which will lead to economic growth and development.
This program cut across all parts of Nigeria from North to South and East to West.
This would aid equity in participation from the different regions in Nigeria and selection would be on merit based.
Transparency and accountability are key instruments of this initiative
participating youths will receive financial transfers directly from financial management system because
of the necessary measures taken.
Also, the programme management, procurement and outsourcing are monitored and audited
With a unique monitoring and evaluation framework to ensure NJFP stays accountable to its participants, partners and long-term objectives.

Duration
A 12-month fully paid programme designed to enhance their employability, building leadership competencies and transferring on- the -job skills.
Remuneration
The fellows will receive monthly stipends and this will be covered by the NJFP for the first year.
