Be happy

Yes, the first step is to be happy with what you have. Life can be very hard, we all know that but, we should use the season as a period to be grateful for everything we have especially our own lives.

When we do this we would see changes in our lives and especially the way we do things around us.

Live within your means for Christmas

Living within your means for Christmas can be hard but we can make it our duty to this.

X-mas is a season of spending, most items would be cheap and there would be a discount for a lot of products.

This is where our discipline comes in. You have to be disciplined in other to live between your means.

If not that you would extend to you spending your January allowance or salary for next month during the X-mas period.

And this would result in you being in debt.

Avoid unnecessary social media pressure

This period is not the period to be on the phone for 24 hours but to take care of yourself.

We must have seen some articles written about social media. The truth is whatever is written in most of those articles are true.

Social media leads to depression if you are not taking care of your mental health.

In essence, all I’m saying is everything isn’t about money but we can celebrate the Christmas by just being happy with our life, family and accepting the status we are at the moment so we can thrive into the next phase of our lives easier.
